Point System

Participation in the Asbury Appalachia Service Youth Mission is a privilege that is earned. This is accomplished through teamwork, sharing, skills and safety workshops and fundraising. We usually have more people who want to go than we can accommodate. We are limited to 45 Youth and 20 Adults this year. In order to participate we give you opportunities to earn points that will get you a preliminary seat on the trip if you follow all of the rules and deadlines.

You must earn 34 of the 50 available points in order to be eligible to go on the trip in June. We know everyone has busy schedules so you can choose to participate where is best fits your schedule. Make sure you get ahead on points in the fall because the spring time always brings busy schedules.

1 point is given for working 1 full shift of each pancake breakfast and helping at the Fall Festival
